I tweeted earlier regarding my dilemma of having bad URLs crawled by google since I changed a Joomla configuration that allows you to have search engine friendly URLs. For example, rather than renatosogueco.com/index.php/80-asae-news/98-technology-section, the change now looks like renatosogueco.com/asae-news/technology-section.html
Anyways, google doesn't like change it doesn't know about it. You literally have to tell google something has changed or it will continue to assume all is peachy. My bad. So, I installed this great component called SEF Service Map 2 which basically produces sitemaps as your site changes. It even uses a server which pings your site to confirm pages do exist and updates your sitemap for you. Of course, you'll still have to submit your Sitemap to google via the Webmaster tools. I'll update you on whether this easily eliminates those pesky bad URL errors!

SEF Service Map 2 is a Joomla 1.5.x component, which aim is to create a complete map of the site.
