Source: MIT TECHNOLOGY REVIEW - It's hard to argue having solid technology guidance is critical in successfully guiding any organization in the Internet age. As this article from MIT's Technology Review proposes, the same principle applies to countries, in particular, the U.S. The article, written by Kate Green, makes a great point on how despite being the country which created broadband technologies, the U.S. lies in the middle of the pack among nations in adoption. It also makes a compelling case that only through a solid technology policy can America spur innovation to remain a viable player on the World stage.

Geek Site of the Day

My Top 10 Technology Links
SAF members regularly request a list of the links I visit on a daily basis. Although the sites number around 30 plus, I've narrowed it down to a Top 10 list which includes a mixture from the various categories I have in my bookmarks. I have yet to post these to del.icio.us since I've been browsing these for some time and I've used syncing programs -- .Mac, now MobileMe -- to seamlessly transfer these bookmarks from one computer to another.
