Just midway through the meeting. Lots of progress and great ideas. We introduced ourselves and shared a new thing that's been happening, personal and professional. I talked about our recent move toward web 2.0 tools at SAF and are now creating blogs and updating both our websites. We're now checking out the new sharepoint website that will serve as the new online community for ASAE. VERY slick stuff. Props to the Effective Practices/Social Media Subcommittee.

I really DID NOT know that Sharepoint was capable of this type of functionality so I need to take another look at doing a MOSS implementation at SAF. SAF's primary interest in Sharepoint was to leverage its groupware capabilities. I'm very relieved to see this level of functionality given the potential expense that a typical MOSS installation may entail.

Great blog, just looking around some blogs, seems a pretty nice platform you are using. I'm currently using Wordpress for a few of my sites but looking to change one of them over to a platform similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it?
